NEWS FROM MENSTRIE PRIMARY SCHOOL
March 2008
Primary 6 and 7 from Menstrie Primary School have been working with a local group called Interact, who are supported by Forth Valley Health Board, promoting a project called Fairness and Equality.
This project is to help tackle anti-sectarian issues like prejudice and rivalry. It is also to encourage us to be tolerant of others. It helps us to understand different values, religions and races. We are encouraged to work together. Other schools in Clackmannanshire are also taking part in this project.
We started the project on 18th February and will continue for six weeks. In these sessions we are given different scenarios and use role-play to work them out.
We enjoy these sessions and are looking forward to the next one.
